The Smart Lighting Three Outdoor Series combines Motion Sensor technology, a Photocell and a Timer for the greatest flexibility in outdoor lighting. These features allow you to return home to bright lighting during the early evening and save energy with dim ambient lighting the remainder of the night (except when motion triggers bright illumination). This series also offers Soft Start: a sensor solution which turns the light on gradually and shuts off gradually (not suitable with CFL's). Use of a 3-way bulb allows for the light to be off during the day, early evening bright lighting for a duration option of 3 or 6 hours, and dim ambient lighting for the remainder of the evening with bright illumination when motion is detected. Use of a standard incandescent bulb will allow for the light to be off during the day, early evening bright lighting with a duration option of 3 or 6 hours, and late night lighting to be off with bright illumination when motion is detected. The Sensitivity Control range is adjustable from 5 feet up to 40 feet for optimum performance. The Sensor Detection Area is a fixed angle coverage of 110 degrees. The Shut-Off Delay of Motion-Activated Illumination can be adjusted from between 10 seconds and 3 minutes.
